Try a simple activity together

Choose a color scheme and add patterns to your truck, then color the truck and its workshop. Try naming your truck and describing the next adventure you imagine.

1. Choose a truck color

   Set out crayons or colored pencils and invite your child to choose a main color. Add a second color for small details, or let every part be different.

2. Imagine its next stop

   While coloring, ask where the truck is going after the garage: a muddy trail, a snowy road, or a stadium? There is no right answer.

3. Add an idea of their own

   On a spare sheet of paper, draw a badge for the truck or a simple track with a start and finish. Give the truck a name and tell its adventure together.

A younger child may like a grown-up to read the prompts. Follow their interest and stop when they are ready; the pages do not need to be finished in one sitting.

How to print these pages

Print at actual size on US Letter paper (8.5 x 11 inches). Black-and-white pages ready to color.

Open the downloaded PDF in your usual PDF reader. Select the pages you want and check the print preview before printing. If your printer clips an edge, use its fit-to-printable-area setting.
